David Fox
David Fox was a senior partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, served as a member of its Global Executive Management Committee and led its New York office and M&A practice. Prior to joining Kirkland, Mr. Fox was a senior partner with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he was a member of its top governing committee.
Mr. Fox was a leader in M&A in the United States and has led some of the largest and most significant M&A and activism defense projects. He has been the recipient of numerous industry recognitions, including receiving The Deal’s inaugural “M&A Lifetime Achievement” award and being selected for Lawdragon’s “Hall of Fame,” and has been consistently ranked among the top tier for M&A and corporate governance counsel.
Mr. Fox has served as a director and advisor to several public and private companies and non-profit organizations. He is a member of the executive committee of the board of directors at the Park Avenue Armory and is the chairman of the leadership council of New Alternatives for Children. Mr. Fox serves on the executive committee of the board of governors, and is an honorary fellow of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He holds an LL.B. degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
