We serve as holistic strategic advisors to corporate boards and investors navigating contested annual meetings, consent solicitations, special meeting requests and unsolicited acquisition proposals. We work seamlessly alongside law firms, bankers, proxy solicitors and other advisors to drive the right public narratives and obtain shareholder and proxy advisory firm support.

We develop and implement multi-faceted communications programs for friendly and hostile transactions – including mergers, separations and spin-outs, initial public offers and SPACs. Our team is closely connected to editors and reporters covering the deal world, ideally positioning us to help ensure the transaction rationale resonates. We work seamlessly with financial and legal advisors to calibrate not only the launch of the deal, but the right campaign to see it through receiving regulatory and shareholder approval.

We are a trusted advisor to organizations who are preparing for or navigating litigations, restructurings, management transitions, cybersecurity breaches, labor issues and other material events. These matters require a 24/7 mentality and nuanced ability to develop messaging and communications strategies that address all key stakeholders. We work closely with in-house counterparts and fellow external advisors to ensure that business continuity is maintained and value-destruction is mitigated.

Our team collectively possesses decades of experience advising investment managers and financial institutions on their most critical communications, media relations and marketing needs. Currently, we represent an array of financial sponsors and managers running strategies that span activist equity, value equity, distressed credit, private credit and debt, litigation finance, long-short equity and relative value.
