Greg Marose advises leading asset managers and financial institutions as well as select public companies. He specializes in developing strategies and communications programs for complex transactions, corporate governance issues and proxy contests, litigations, restructurings and other contested situations. In addition, he leads many of the firm’s mandates related to brand positioning, capital raises and fund launches.

Greg has represented some of the world’s top investors and companies. Select mandates of note include:

  • Ancora Advisors in multiple activism engagements, including its recent settlement for board seats and a strategy committee at C.H. Robinson
  • Carl Icahn in multiple activism engagements, including his recent ESG-focused campaign at McDonald’s
  • GameStop on corporate affairs, investor relations and strategic initiatives
  • GoldenTree Asset Management, Whitebox Advisors and other bondholders in Puerto Rico’s successful $18 billion central government debt restructuring
  • SilverBox-Engaged Merger Corp I in its $1.7 billion combination with Black Rifle Coffee
  • Third Point in multiple activism engagements, including its proxy contest at Campbell Soup

Recently, Greg was recognized by Business Insider as a top financial public relations professional. Previously, he built an industry-leading shareholder activism practice at Profile Advisors and held senior roles at Edelman and Sloane & Company.

Greg began his career in Washington, D.C. in the federal government. He holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland.

Dan Zacchei advises boards of directors, management teams and senior investment professionals on high-stakes communications and strategic positioning matters. He leads many of Longacre Square’s ongoing corporate and financial communications mandates and special situations matters including contested and friendly transactions, proxy fights, debt restructurings, governance issues, and large-scale crises.

He represents a range of public and private companies, including some of the world’s most high-profile brands. His clients also include dozens of institutional asset managers running hedge fund, private equity, credit and debt, and active strategies.

Representative matters include:

  • CVS Health on its proposed $8 billion acquisition of Signify Health and its $69 billion merger and subsequent integration with Aetna, as well as ongoing positioning for the investment community and various corporate governance matters
  • Revlon Inc. in its Chapter 11 restructuring
  • Farallon Capital Management in its engagement with Toshiba Corporation and the addition of a Farallon representative to the Board
  • Sachem Head Capital Management in its proxy contest at US Foods
  • Preferred Apartments in its $5.8 billion sale to Blackstone
  • Senator and Cannae Holdings in their bid for CoreLogic and subsequent proxy fight

Dan was recently recognized by Business Insider as one of the top financial public relations professionals “CEOs are scrambling to hire.” Prior to Longacre Square, Dan spent more than a decade at Sloane & Company, where he was President of the Special Situations Group.

Dan holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross. He lives in Westchester with his wife and daughter.
