Charlotte Kiaie


Charlotte Kiaie advises founders, boards of directors and management teams across the investment management industry and corporate sectors. She specializes in corporate positioning and special situations, including transactions, shareholder activism, complex litigation and issues management. In addition, she has extensive experience advising clients on LP communications, media management and helps firms craft impactful ESG/DEI programs that go beyond new requirements.

Charlotte’s client base currently includes leading asset management firms and publicly traded companies. Representations of note include:

  • Privet Fund in its successful proxy fight at Synalloy Corporation
  • Whitebox Advisors in its engagement with LG Corporation, resulting in recommendations from two leading independent proxy advisory firms
  • WaterMill Asset Management in its successful consent solicitation at Ziopharm Oncology
  • SilverBox-Engaged Merger Corp I in its $1.7 billion combination with Black Rifle Coffee
  • Solus Alternative Asset Management in CDS related litigation against GSO Capital and Hovnanian Enterprises
  • United Natural Foods Inc (NYSE: UNFI) on corporate affairs, labor relations and strategic initiatives

Prior to joining Profile Advisors and holding positions of increasing seniority, Charlotte worked on the Trading/Ops desk at Farallon Capital Management in San Francisco. She holds dual B.A. degrees from The University of Colorado at Boulder and has served on the Philanthropy Board of 100 Women in Finance since 2018.
